Appointing a process agent is quick: you send us the basics of your agreement, we reply within one working day with a link to our order form, and once the completed form and payment are received we confirm the appointment, usually within 24 hours. Your signed letter of appointment follows in two to three working days, or the same day on our expedited service.
Step by step
First, tell us about your matter through the Appoint Us Now page or the form below. Second, complete the order form we send you, which captures the parties, the agreement, the term you need and where documents should be forwarded. Third, we run our client due diligence checks and countersign the order form, which becomes the contract between us. Fourth, you receive your confirmation pack: the signed letter of appointment, the countersigned order form and our invoice.
What the drafting solicitors need from you
The agreement itself will name us in its service of process clause, so your solicitors will want our full name and address for the draft: Tremark Process Agents Limited, Joshua Chambers, 332 York Road, Leeds, LS9 9DN. We are happy to review the wording of the clause against what we have agreed to accept, and we can liaise directly with the law firms on both sides where that speeds things up.
Timing your appointment against completion
Because a signed letter of appointment is often a condition precedent to completion, build us into your timetable early. Standard turnaround is two to three working days from completed order form to letter, most are faster, and our same day service (£150, order forms before 2pm UK time) exists for signings that cannot move. Appointments are routinely confirmed within 24 hours.
