Usually within 24 hours. Once we receive your completed order form and basic due diligence information, Tremark Process Agents will normally confirm the appointment the same or next working day. The signed letter of appointment follows within two to three working days as standard, or the same day for a £150 expedited fee on forms received before 2pm UK time.
What drives the timeline
The appointment itself is fast because the commercial terms are standard. The two things that take time are your side completing the order form, which asks for the parties, the agreement and forwarding contacts, and our client due diligence, which is usually satisfied by standard corporate identification documents. Have both ready and a morning instruction is very often confirmed by the afternoon.
Same day completions
Where a signing is scheduled and the letter of appointment is on the conditions precedent list, our expedited service guarantees a same day letter for order forms received before 2pm UK time, for £150 in addition to the service fee. We regularly work directly with the solicitors on both sides in the final hours before completion, including on transactions running to overseas time zones.
Do not leave it to the last morning
Although we can move very quickly, the safest pattern is to instruct us as soon as the draft agreement names a process agent requirement, then hold the letter until your completion date is fixed. It costs nothing extra to appoint early, and it removes the one item on the checklist that is outside your solicitors' direct control. Start with the Appoint Us Now form and we will reply within one working day.
