Your invoice issues with the confirmation pack, alongside the signed letter of appointment and countersigned order form. UK invoiced clients add VAT at 20%; overseas clients pay no UK VAT. We invoice in GBP, USD, EUR, JPY, AUD, CAD, CHF or CNY and accept payment by bank transfer or debit and credit card.
What appears on the invoice
The fee structure is published, so the invoice holds no surprises: the annual service at £125 per year for one agreement or your fixed term amount from £160, plus any options you selected, £30 or £60 for additional agreements, £150 for a same day letter, £50 per additional letter of appointment. Annual appointments are invoiced each year until cancelled with 30 days notice; fixed terms are a single payment with nothing further due.
VAT and overseas clients
Invoices to UK clients carry VAT at the current 20% rate. Overseas clients, who are the majority of appointing parties, pay no UK VAT, so the headline fee is the whole cost. Choose the invoicing currency that suits your accounts payable from the eight we offer, and the invoice will show the amount in that currency for clean processing at your end.
Payment and records
Payment is by bank transfer or debit and credit card, and appointments complete quickly once the order form, due diligence and payment are in place, usually within 24 hours end to end. Keep the countersigned order form with the invoice: together with the letter of appointment they are the complete record your auditors and counterparty solicitors may ask to see.
